Due to COVID-19 our museums are open for limited hours - 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and 12:30 to 3:30 on Saturday. Please note that face masks must be worn and social distancing rules must be followed when in the building. The health of our staff and volunteers as well as that of the public is very important to us, and wearing face masks is the best way to help protect all of us.
The research library is open by appointment only. Until further notice face masks are required for those who want to use the research library and will be available for those who do not have their own. To arrange an appointment please email research@jchshc.org

ResearchJCHS has a very strong program of support for teachers
and students provided by our education director.
The History Center has two museums along with a "country store" and "one-room school house, and they are free to members of the society.
MuseumsWe have already collected and are actively pursuing more audio and video recordings for archiving. They are a part of our history.
